The snow is finally melting
in Burrwood Forest, as the spring rains are starting.
Though it's still cold at night.
Here is a recipe for hot
acorn cider, that I just invented:
- Grind up 10 acorns
- Heat a pan of melted snow, until it boils
- Grind up some minty hockenberry leaves (only found
in Burrwood Forest)
- Mix the acorns, leaves and 3 drops of honey into
the water, and stir 48 times
- That's it! Makes 6 burr servings (about a tablespoon,
for humans.)
Draffle has been hibernating
all winter, so it's been kind of lonely around here.
That's all for now,
