"Soar Higher" Flash File - Stuffed (for Macintosh)

Follow these instructions to insert your own face in the animation:

After downloading and uncompressing the file, open it up in Macromedia Flash. Use the menu File > Import > Import to stage to import a digital photo of yourself.

Once the photo is on the stage (in its own layer), select it and choose the menu Modify > Break Apart. This will allow you to erase the photo around your face, using the eraser tool.

(Important - make sure you don't erase any of the drawing beneath the photo. Prevent this by either locking the layer with the drawing, or else grouping the photo immediately after you break it apart. Then you can go into the group and erase it without affecting the rest of the file.)

Once you have your face alone, copy it to the other frames, moving its position to match the drawing. It doesn't have to be perfect. Then, type or draw your own name in place of the lower text.

Then you are done!
