Challenge:
The Magic Tree House books by Mary Pope Osborne are an extremely most popular series for early readers, and Random House wanted to create a new website that would embody the same sense of adventure and learning. FableVision was called upon to create a fresh look for the existing series, in keeping with the traditional style of the books, while keeping within a budget.

Solution:
Peter H. Reynolds and John Lechner designed a look and feel that combined a starry backdrop with the more traditional borders and illustrations from the books. They also developed an interactive timeline game, where users are challenged to match each book with its particular place in history.
