FableVision has created many educational animated films over the years, and our collaboration with NFPA has resulted in some of our finest work. These are truly "stories that matter", in educating young children about fire safety, and we look forward to future collaborations.

Project: Where There's Smoke, There's Science

Challenge:
NFPA needed an educational film to promote fire safety and explore the science behind fire. The film had to appeal to young children and be entertaining enough to hold their attention, while also teaching many important and often complex ideas.

Solution:
FableVision did what they did best — come up with an engaging story that teaches important lessons while entertaining young audiences. In the animated story, three children decide to learn more about fire safety after one of them escapes from a fire in her own house. In the end, they produce their own play for the school based on what they learned, complete with poetry reading and guitar solo.

The entire 11-minute film is packed with humor and whimsy, and teaches many important concepts about the science behind fire. Featuring character design by Noah Z. Jones and a musical score by Tony Lechner.
