Workshop Overview:

Providing opportunities to write in all subject areas develops strong writers. Teachers explore how to use Kidspiration® and Stationery Studio® to develop writing and critical thinking skills in all disciplines. They learn how to teach the complete writing process, including strategies for prewriting, drafting, revising, editing, and publishing. They also learn to customize motivational writing paper for stories, letters, reports, shape books, mini-books, and countless other creative projects.

Workshop Objectives:

  • Integrate these tools into daily lessons to foster critical thinking, visual literacy, and writing skills.
  • Create lesson plans and customized project designs that integrate writing in all curriculum areas.
  • Learn how students can use these tools to visually process, organize, and prioritize new information before writing.
  • Discover how students can master content and demonstrate their knowledge in any subject through writing.
