Workshop Overview:

Animation brings classroom assignments to life. Using Kidspiration®/Inspiration® and Animation-ish™, teachers learn how to guide students through the animation process – from storyboarding to animating to creating a movie file that can be shared on a website, blog, or wiki. Teachers will arm themselves with techniques for teaching students how to communicate using technology tools and effectively "show what
they know."

Workshop Objectives:

Learn how to use Animation-ish and Kidspiration or Inspiration
Discover how to integrate these tools into daily lessons to help students master content and “show what they know.”
Explore how students can develop planning, visual literacy, and creative thinking skills through storyboarding and animating with images, photos, and audio narration.
Learn about iMovie, MovieMaker, various web 2.0 tools, and other easy-to-use audio and video equipment.
Find out where to access tutorials and additional resources for digital storytelling.

Six-hour workshop
