The boy was sitting in his garden, when he realized there was a star. He said, "interesting". "Why don't I pick it and give it to my mother", he thought. "Why, it's beautiful!", said his mother.
He had wanted to give it to his mother because he thought it was so pretty. All of the other roses in his garden were different from the star. The star meant the whole world to him. It was so beautiful....it made him think he was a prince. But, he didn't feel like being a prince.
His mother gave him a big kiss, and said, "go off and play". He wanted everything for that star. He came back in the house and played with his toys. He realized his mother had grown that star. "But why?", he thought. She had grown the star for him because she loved him.
