We're happy to share this
powerful new tradition... a unique way to celebrate
New Year's Eve, Day, Week... the year! By modifying the timeline,
spreading it out over the course of a day, or a week, it's also
an inspiring way to kick off the New School Year!
As always.. this is a "Fablicious
Recipe" meaning that this is only a suggested format
-- feel free to adapt, alter the timetable, add your own ideas (if
you DO - please share ideas with info@fablevisionlearning.com and we'll see about adding them to next year's "recipe").
- 10pm.
Print out the New Year's North Star Template. Ponder
your journey for the coming year... reflect on who you are, what
your talents are, what your dreams are, how you want to grow,
stretch, become an all-around more wonderful person. Our handy-dandy
North Star template will help you and your New Year's guests think
this through. Print out the stars, cut them out, and jot down
your thoughts. You might want to paste your stars into a journal...
leave room for writing about your "stars."

- 11pm.
North Star Fortune Cookies. Serve these inspirational
treats as a warm up to the countdown. Before you bake these treats,
slip in a North Star Fortune.
Print our template, cut carefully, and surprise your guests at
your New Year's gathering.

- Midnight.
Toast the journey ahead. Grab the beverage of your choice
- we think a cup of tea - "CreativiTea" works quite nicely. Make a toast to the future. If you need a
bit of help with something magical to say... print out our North
Star New Year's Poem.
- Throughout the year.... take time to slow down, and ponder your stars. Allow yourself
to be inspired and guided by them. Savor each step on the journey!
Good luck from all our your friends at FableVision!
Note: You don't HAVE to do this for the actual "New Year's Eve"
event. This would work well in a classroom the week after the holiday...
or the day before a high-stakes standardized
test. And as we mentioned above, it would also would be an exciting
way to kick off the New School Year! Use your imagination, and have
fun!
