Local Children's Author Peter H. Reynolds Set to Make Special Appearance at World Trade Center's Storybook World of Wonder
Tall Ships Spark Children's Literacy & Entertainment Extravaganza - July 13-16th

Other Storybook World of Wonder activities which promote these themes include Follow James Earl Jones Around the World sponsored by Bell Atlantic Yellow Pages and the FableVision Mini Movie Theatre, which will continuously run FableVision Studios animated short films throughout the weekend. Other event partners helping contribute activities and entertainment include Candlewick Press, Houghton Mifflin, Little, Brown & Company, Simon & Schuster, Hood, Audi, Waldenbooks and the Boston Public Library. Free and open to the public each day from 11:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m., the World of Wonder is an ideal respite after visiting the tall ships berthed at the World Trade Center, Fish Pier and nearby Black Falcon Cruise Terminal. Giant pages from storybooks will be backdrops for photos, and kids will be able to meet and greet their favorite characters. Storytelling, performance stages and activity areas will round out this fun and educational event. The event is expected to attract at least 75,000 during its four days.
