Peter H. Reynolds Receives Technology In Learning Leadership Award at California CUE (Computer-Using Educators) Conference

DEDHAM, MA. - Dedham Resident Peter H. Reynolds has just received the Technology In Learning Leadership Award from the CUE (Computer Using Educators) organization, one of the nation’s leading groups dedicated to the effective use of technology in teaching and learning. Peter was given the award at a special celebration in Palm Springs, California where his twenty-year career in educational technology was highlighted in a gala awards celebration. CUE’s Technology in Learning Leadership Awards recognize local, state and national leaders in educational technology. Members of the broader educational technology community are eligible for recognition in this category for their contributions to advancing the mission of the organization.

For the last two decades Peter Reynolds has made his mark in traditional media and technology-delivered learning for children. Peter, along with his identical twin brother Paul Reynolds, founded the award-winning children’s media company FableVision in 1996. FableVision’s mission is to use media, storytelling and technology to reach, support and inspire ALL learners has led to partnerships and co-development relationships with a wide range of museums, publishers, and broadcasters, including CAST, Houghton-Mifflin, Research Institute for Learning & Development, Baltimore Children’s Museum, the W5 in Ireland, PBS, TSP/Scholastic, Carnegie Hall, and NOGGIN. Peter H. Reynolds’ award-winning career also includes the new hit book called The Dot, which was released last October by Candlewick Press and already been printed eleven languages, is in its fourth print run, and is winning a string of major awards, including the Oppenheim Platinum Toy Award, Borders Books’ ORIGINAL VOICES 2004 Award, and the Christopher Medal.
