Europe is trying on The Blue Shoe Brussels, Belgium The Blue Shoe film has been selected for the prestigious Brussels Festival of Cartoons and Animated Films! The film will be screening on Friday, February 12th. The Brussels Festival is one of the top festivals on the international cartoon and computer generated images circuit. It screens approximately 150 films and attracts nearly 35,000 spectators. On such short notice, I doubt we'll be eating our brussels sprouts in Brussels during the festival, but if anyone can make it, do let us know! The Blue Shoe steps out to the West Coast. Santa Clarita, CA FableVision's "The Blue Shoe" has been chosen for the Santa Clarita International Film Festival. The seven-minute love story between a blue shoe and a green boot, (who knew they'd get along so well?) has already won an award at The World Animation Celebration, secured a distribution deal and sold broadcast rights all over the world. Watch out Spielberg and Lucas, looks like FableVision's Peter Reynolds and Gary Goldberger have a hit on their hands.
