FableVision’s Online Vocabulary Program Get A Clue® Expands with Powerful Distribution Alliance

Apple Digital Learning Series Includes a Second Title Boston Educational Media Firm’s Award-Winning Product Line

BOSTON, MA - August 3, 2006 - FableVision, the award-winning educational media and interactive publisher, today announced that its web-based vocabulary and critical thinking program, Get A Clue®, has been selected by Apple for inclusion in the new Apple Digital Learning Series. This may spell good news to U.S. high schools. According to the National Center for Education Statistics’ recent Condition of Education 2006 Report, performance of 17-year-olds reading assessment has essentially “flat-lined” since the first NAEP (National Assessment of Educational Progress) reading assessments in 1971. And college reading readiness is at its lowest in nearly a decade. “Recycled and repackaged solutions aren’t going to reach the students we’ve left behind,” observes FableVision’s President Paul Reynolds, “but Get A Clue’s completely online, game-like experience has kids tuning in and staying tuned in in a way that is turning heads on the challenged K12 landscape.”

Widely used as a means of improving literacy and preparing for the SAT, Get A Clue is an innovative subscription-based web application for middle and high school students which builds vocabulary, improves reading comprehension, and test-taking skills through the patented WATS (Words And Their Stories) system whereby students uncover the meaning of the word through the context of a story.

Get A Clue will be included in the Secondary Tools package offered as part of the Apple Digital Learning Series (ADLS), landing both in the middle and high school bundles. The Secondary Tools package is a value–priced way of purchasing Get A Clue in combination with other leading educational software programs. The program also runs on Apple’s recently released Intel-based computers, MacBook and iMac, featuring the Intel Core Duo - the next generation in processor design from the world’s leading chip maker.
